Small Groups

Small Groups

Engage in meaningful relationships by doing life together. Be a part of each other's lives, fellowships, and be on mission together. It is in the context of these groups that genuine community and growth begin to happen.

We believe you can't do life alone

Are you looking for a way to get connected to other people in our church? If you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus and take the next steps, you need people surrounding you to encourage you, challenge you, and be there for you. Member Connect Bible Study, Ministry Teams and Small Groups are a great opportunity for you to get connected to LBC and take your relationship with God to the next level! And when you get together with people and have fun, you’ll begin to grow into a strong community that serves and grows together.

Let the message about the Messiah dwell richly among you, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, and singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, with gratitude in your hearts to God.

FAQ's

How long do groups last?

Every small group is different, but most small groups will meet for 4-6 consecutive weeks, ministry teams meet monthly and Bible Study is every week.

When and where do these groups meet?

LBC groups meet on different days and times throughout the week. Some meet every week, some meet every other week, or some meet once a month.

Some groups meet in homes, restaurants, or coffee shops. Some Small groups meet to go bowling, play golf or go to shows. We can help you find the group just for you and based on an activity you’re interested in.

Is childcare provided?

Not all groups offer childcare, but there are options available. Some group members share the responsibility of watching the kids, split the cost for a sitter, or make other arrangements. Let us know if you would like to join a group or team with a childcare option.

What will my group do?

It depends on the kind of group you choose. Some small groups serve on the same team at church. Other small groups study the Bible together. And some get together to enjoy shared interests.

Lead A Small Group

You know as much as anybody that it's important to be connected. We know it's hard to connect with others and build lasting friendships. We know that even defining community is tough because being in a community is more than showing up for Bible study. It's also sharing food, laughing till it hurts, and doing what you love to do with your favorite people.

What if you could help more people find and enjoy that kind of laughing, caring, and growing community?

You can. Ask us how:
