Wayne D. Wyatt, Sr., a native Baltimorean, is founding pastor of Loudoun Bible Church (LBC). He desired to establish a community church with a solid biblical foundation. Pastor Wyatt’s vision includes the importance of corporate worship and an emphasis on small group ministries that provide encouragement and accountability in the body. His engaging teaching style focuses on understanding the Bible seeing how it reveals God’s love for us. Pastor Wyatt shepherds with authenticity and openness which inspires us to study the Word to know God better and reflect on His love in our lives.
Prior to full-time ministry, Pastor Wyatt was a Human Resources professional at Fannie Mae. He uniquely brings the church and business together to form a vehicle God can use to develop disciples and build community. This is evidenced in his new endeavor, The Zoe Center, which will be a place that fosters engagement with local businesses.
Prior to founding LBC, Pastor Wyatt developed strong relationships with many churches where he served in a variety of roles including Minister of Music and Youth and Teen Advisor. While attending Mount Zion Baptist Church, under the leadership of Dr. Leonard N. Smith, he served as the Ministry Director for the Senior Saints Assistance Ministry and was Facilitator of Introduction to Theology. Today, his musical background has been instrumental in designing an upbeat worship service. Worship at LBC incorporates both old hymns and contemporary songs to usher worshipers into a posture to experience God and the fullness of His Spirit.
Pastor Wyatt studied theology at Washington Bible College and John Leland Theological Center. He earned a Master’s of Science degree in Managerial Leadership from National Louis University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Strategic Leadership at Regent University. He resides in Loudoun County, Virginia. He has been blessed with three children: Wayne Jr., Courtni and Evan.
